Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is applies to both the HeyAIku app and the HeyAIku website.

Information collected

The app sends some anonymous telemetry data to TelemetryDeck. When a haiku is generated the user-entered topics are sent to the HeyAIku service, but neither the topics or the haiku is saved. All the saved haikus are stored locally on the device and sent to iCloud, if the user has it enabled.

Subscription information

The app uses RevenueCat to facilitate the in-app purchases. When a tokens are purchased, RevenueCat is notified. The information sent to RevenueCat is anonymous.

Security

If the user chooses to use their own API key from OpenAI inside HeyAIku, the API key is saved in the device's Keychain.
